In Short: The HP LaserJet 2200D is a small laser printer packed with features like auto-duplexing, PostScript2 emulation, and print speeds up to 19 pages per minute. It has a 250 page tray and a multi-purpose feeder that can handle envelopes and some card stock. The 2200T version adds a 2nd 250 sheet tray and the 2200TN adds a 100BaseT Ethernet Card. A new plain 2200 version is now available without auto-duplex for about $100 less than the 2200D.
The Bottom Line: The HP LaserJet 2200 is a solid desktop printer. We recommend this printer especially for a small office or home office that needs to print on a variety of paper stock and envelopes. The 2200D is one of the lowest priced options available to you if you must have auto-duplexing.
