In Short: The HP LaserJet 5100 series comes with PostScript Level 3, PCL 6 and PCL 5e emulations. Fast 300 MHz RISC processor. Paper handling is improved with a maximum 12.3"x 18.5" paper size. Optional duplexer is available. Network card and a 500 sheet lower bin are standard on 5100tn and the 5100dtn models. Auto-duplexing is included with the 5100dtn.
The Bottom Line: The HP LaserJet 5100 series has improved on its predecessor. This is another good printer from Hewlett Packard but it has serious competition. There are significantly faster printers that make for a better value like the Xerox-5400 and Minolta-QMS N9100.
