In Short: The Kyocera FS-1010 is a great laser printer for a small office or home office. Small enough to fit on a desk but powerful enough to crank through even complex documents at up to 15 pages per minute. It produces 1200dpi quality and has 250 page tray. Multiple emulations allow this printer to work with most operating systems including DOS. Like all Kyocera-Mita printers, the FS-1010 has the lowest operating cost of any laser in it's price class.
The Bottom Line: The Kyocera FS-1010 packs a big punch in a little package. Definitely the best monochrome laser printer under $400. For high volume printing we strongly recommend stepping up to the office-class printers like the Kyocera-Mita 1800/3800 series.
