In Short: The Kyocera FS-1900, is basically the same as the FS1800+ in most every way. It produces very sharp 1200dpi output at a real 19 pages per minute. Many paper handling and interface options are available like up to two 500-sheet lower feeders, auto-duplexer, and envelope feeder. The one difference, however, is that unlike the other Kyocera office class laser printers the FS-1900 offers a lower initial purchase price. The printer comes standard with PCL6 and PS3emulations as well as a USB port and a Power PC processor.
The Bottom Line: The 1900 is a fast desktop laser printer with many options and applications. This printer will work well in any environment, Mac, UNIX, DOS, or Windows. This a great printer but if you print a lot you should look at the FS-1800+ or the FS-3800.
