In Short: Okidata C9200 is a fast large format color page printer good for short runs on letter, legal, or tabloid size paper. It produces decent output quality for most office applications at 1200x600dpi. All versions ship with 128MB and a fast 400 MHz processor. The C9200n includes an internal network card and a 5GB HD. The C9200dxn configuration adds 64MB and auto-duplex. The C9400dxn configuration has 320 MB RAM, a 480 MHz processor, and prints 1200 x 1200 addressable dots per square inch. Additional paper feed optiona are also available.

The Bottom Line: The Okidata C9200 series printers work well in the Windows environment and the C9200n and higher work well in any environment including Mac OS. The speed is very good but the print quality is not as good or as consistent as the Xerox Phaser 7700 series. For most office applications requiring large format color printing, the Okidata C9200 series may be one of the most cost effective solutions out there.
