In Short: The QMS magicolor 2200 Desklaser is basically a stripped down version of the award winning Magicolor 2210 series. The 2200 Desklaser produces acceptable output at 600x1200dpi. Unlike the standard 2210 series, the Desklaser lacks the on board PostScript3 or PCL6 interpreter. This results in the printer being dependant solely on the Windows operating system to drive it. This is a Windows exclusive product. Duplexer and lower paper feeder are available options. Ethernet 10/100Base-T network card is standard but will only work in Windows.
The Bottom Line: The Minolta-QMS 2200 Desklaser produces output suitable for presentation graphics but from Windows only. If you incorporate photos or want to print brochures we recommend a higher resolution printer like the 2210 model. This Printer will not work outside the Windows environment.
