In Short: The Xerox Phaser 6200 uses one of the fastest desktop color laser printer engines available. Now you can print monochrome or full color at 16 pages per minute. All configurations run Adobe PostScript 3 powered by a beefy 500 MHz processor and sport some nifty features like draft mode and the ability to print monochrome even if one or all of the color toners are empty. The 6200B comes standard with 64 MB RAM. The 6200N comes with 128MB and adds high resolution and Ethernet 100 base TX while the 6200DP adds a photo mode and auto-duplex capability. The 6200DX comes with 256MB and adds an internal hard disk and a 1000 page feeder. The 6200B produces good looking 600 dpi output. The 6200N print looks great at 2400x600dpi and rivals other 1200 dpi printers. The 6200DP and DX configurations are capable of a photo-mode for very smooth looking fills and gradations.
The Bottom Line: The Xerox Phaser 6200 rocks. The 6200N is all the printer most networks need and the 6200DP out-performs all other comparable network color laser printers for letter and legal-sized printing.
