Superseding the magicolor 2200-series, the magicolor 2210 is available immediately for $2,459 (MSRP).
“The new magicolor 2210 extends the magicolor color laser family with a collection of new features that further simplify business printing,” said Steve Fletcher, president of the Americas for MINOLTA-QMS. “The magicolor 2210 draws on the industry-recognized performance and quality of the magicolor 2200 series, adding tools to enhance productivity and ease of use.”
Proven Performance
The magicolor 2210 offers the same award-winning performance and quality output that made the original magicolor 2200 series successful. It prints up to five color pages and 20 black-and-white pages per minute, includes a built-in Ethernet network interface for network connectivity, and operates using the patented Crown® III printer architecture for the quickest possible throughput and printing.
The 2210 includes PostScript 3, as well as PCL 6 and PDF emulations for broad application support, and has user-friendly drivers for conveniently selecting printing options. For easily checking on printer and print job status, the magicolor 2210 has both PageScope™ (for network administrators) and CrownView™ (for all printer users) management software programs. Both are graphical, browser-based programs. Another handy feature of the 2210 is Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) support, a tool that allows users to print to the magicolor 2210 via the Internet.
The magicolor 2210 produces 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution on a variety of print media for impressive business documentsfrom general reports and letters to presentations and brochures. Automatic Image Calibration insures users excellent, no-hassle color output, everytime.
Versatile for the Growing Business
The magicolor 2210 consists of just one model (2210 GN) that is completely configurable to meet a business' exact specifications. For example, the printer can be outfitted with up to 1,150 sheets of input for higher-volume print jobs or a digital copier/scanner that allows you to make color copies on the printer. An automatic duplexer for full-color, two-sided printing reduces paper costs, and a 5-bin mailbox option sorts print jobs by individual or multiple users.
“The new magicolor 2210 offers enhanced flexibility to meet the growing need for efficient, high-performance color printing in the office,” summarized Fletcher. “Users will discover that the magicolor 2210 offers not only high-quality color printing, but also additional 'convenience' features that will definitely save time and effort.”
